This is a headphone concert!
The Seebühne at the Schwanenspiegel is a stage that floats on the water, while the audience sits on the terraces on the shore. A sophisticated headphone system is used to acoustically connect the audience with the action on stage.

‘Nahas has the theatricality of Weimar cabaret with added violins and rockabilly.’
The Guardian

Berlin-based Palestinian singer-songwriter and guitarist Rasha Nahas was born and raised in Haifa, where she developed her unique artistic identity and sound. In her music she combines traditional and popular styles from her homeland with passionate electronic rock, and her songwriting, storytelling and stage presence are truly exceptional. Rasha’s debut album “Desert” (2021) chronicles her journey from Haifa to Berlin. Her second album, “Amrat” (2023), released on the British label Cooking Vinyl, was recorded at 67 Studio in the occupied Golan Heights with contributions from leading figures in the Palestinian indie scene. The album explores themes of home, longing and identity whilst living in exile. With acoustic tracks and deep rock sounds, she explores the duality of rural and urban life. Rasha Nahas has performed on many international stages and festivals and has toured Europe, South America, the UK and West Asia. She also has extensive experience as an author and composer for film and theatre productions, including a number of plays for the Berlin Performing Arts Szene and Hamburg’s Thalia Theatre.

What the press say:

‘Onstage, Rasha Nahas is a dynamic, confidently mature musician, rocking out with the theatrical energy of what could be Elvis and Bjork’s love child’
