Gentle, emotional and deeply moving: with her unique voice, the French-Senegalese musician anaiis creates soundscapes that blend neo-soul and experimental R&B. Her concerts linger long in the memory and are full of depth, groove and magic. Born in Toulouse, raised between Dublin, Dakar and Oakland, and now based in London, she translates her diverse background into a sound that is always personal yet universal at the same time. Following her debut single »Nina« (2018) and the album »this is no longer a dream« (2021), her latest album »Devotion & The Black Divine« (2025) reflects her experiences as a young mother and her quest for self-love, acceptance and personal growth. It could be her international breakthrough: most recently, she was nominated for the 2025 Independent Music Awards (AIM) alongside the likes of Ezra Collective and Wet Leg, toured the US, performed at numerous festivals and received significant airplay on British radio stations. The New Yorker magazine named her track »Green Juice« one of the best songs of the year, whilst BBC Radio 6 Music included »Devotion & The Black Divine« on its »Albums of the Year« list.
