The countdown is on!

It won’t be long now: The 14th asphalt Festival will take place in Düsseldorf from 15 July to 2 August 2026. 70 performances, 19 days, six venues, an electrifying festival experience: look forward to theatre, dance, concerts, readings and photographic art at the »Summer of the Arts«!

Star guests in conversation

Programme update: asphalt 2026 will feature unique talks with exceptional guests. Newly confirmed events include an artist talk with Biennale star Florentina Holzinger, a keynote speech followed by a discussion with Nobel Peace Prize laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk, and a panel discussion featuring, amongst others, author Sasha Salzmann and director Julian Hetzel on defending cultural spaces against right-wing influence.
