A festival needs strong allies. The asphalt 2024 programme comprises nearly 50 events, including numerous works commissioned by the festival and co-produced by asphalt. In addition, we proudly present top-class national and international guest performances, ensembles, musicians and authors – and six world premieres!

We can only realise all this with the help of our supporters. The non-profit asphalt Festival is financed by public funding from the city, state, federal and foundations, sponsorships and donations from private individuals. We are also helped by a large number of partners who provide venues, accommodation for the artists, instruments and more.
