»Her vulnerable and deep voice is instantly touching.«
Radio France Internationale

Juliette Magnevasoa creates a quiet maelstrom on stage that is hard to resist. Her voice and a guitar – that’s all the exceptional artist from Madagascar, who was adopted to France as a child, needs to captivate her audience. Juliette Magnevasoa combines chanson and folk to create songs of touching intimacy. She talks about her two home countries, her origins, new beginnings and the subtle in-between, opening up a view of a wider world. She has been performing on French stages for almost ten years and has built a large fan base. Every morning, without exception, Juliette Magnevasoa sings for two and a half hours, accompanying herself on the guitar. It is her daily routine, working on her guitar technique, her voice and refining her expression. At the end of each session, she shares an excerpt of a song that is close to her heart – usually a cover – which she posts on Instagram. Her version of »Les gens qui doutent« by Anne Sylvestre has 1.8 million views to date. Two EPs are planned for summer 2026 and her debut full-length album is due to be released in 2027. Juliette Magnevasoa is an award winner of the Metronum Woman Academy 2026 in Toulouse, a prestigious funding programme for creative women and inclusion in culture.
